I`m not going to name names, let`s just call him `SL` for the sake of keeping his identity a secret…..

we were out on the bike ride this morning, a great turnout of 14 in total, we were out over Netherwitton when SL punctured out, we all stopped (well nearly all of us but that`s another story !) and knowing that SL is a new member of our triathlon family we would give him a hand to change his inner tube as he informed us that he had not changed a one before.

Off came the wheel, out came the spanners,out came the punctured tube, we checked the tyre for  debris and then when SL got the Spare tube out, there were gasps of amazement………….The spare tube was the same size of a water ring u would get at a holiday water park !!!!  He only has the 1 spare `water ring` and no more tubes……..Davy B has to lend him one of his tubes, to great amusement to everyone else in the bike group,

Got to admit, SL was very quiet on the way home

I have to admit that was very funny! and it brightened up a bit of a grey morning….. Anyway we unintentionally split into a Super Fast group, Fast group and not so fast group today. Baz was out very very very late last night! (naughty boy) and had to slip away quietly with a few of the guys, Gazza was on a mission and left us all in his wake and I coaxed the rest of the group around a rather decent Sunday morning ride! Thoroughly enjoyable!!

In preparation for next weeks ride out, Stephen’s been practicing!!
